I'm somewhat baffled about the usefulness of blogs too. It might make sense if someone were blogging about some worthwhile & unique activity (if Mark Thomas had blogged about his recent walking of the Israeli 'wall', for instance), but mostly blogs seem to be a vehicle for the endless self-publication some people crave. Just another way that the internet has changed social reaction I suppose...
