–The 3 corners of the triangle for NRMS are:-

 

World Rejecting NRMs (Sects) theology normally highly critical of outside world. Expects or actively seeks worldly change. Members believe they are chosen ones – advocate doctrines that are seen deviant by society. Attempts to control every aspect of its members’ behaviour

World-accommodating NRMS – denominations ~ evangelical and fundamentalists denominations 

World-affirming NRMs – New age cults, unlocking spiritual powers. Concerned with marketing solutions than commitment to group identity
