Hello, i'm a PGCE student at the University of Huddersfield, specialising in FE education. I completed my sociology degree in 2009, but was aiming for this course since 2007. I have a split placement at the Universities health and human sciences department teaching degree students and also at a HMP. It is an extremely varied placement and i am really enjoying it, the difficulties i am finding however is the theoretical work at University; i feel overwhelmed with the amount of work, placements and home life. Looking at this site has provided me with extra motivation, as i believe teaching is what i was meant to do.
