powerpoint of a skills lesson to develop comparison skillsDescription Designed to help students to develop comparison skills.Really suitable for the begining of their A2 year.I have left it as i presented it to my students so you can get the jist of the lesson, but obviously you would change names and lots of things,This has worked really well whenever i have used it and throws up a lot of skills issues that you can discuss and deal with. But you need a really good prize that they want to win.The pictures of all the animals I leave up while they are writing their discussion so they can look up from time to time for inspiration about their animal.Suggest do it in the morning or first lesson after lunch. |

I like your approach. Perhaps comparing where the animals sit in the scientific classification in Biology e.g Reptile or Mammal etc is similar to Theoretical classification in Sociology e.g Structure or Action theory
