Visual Sociology: Macro Sociology

Video Clip Details

chris.livesey (follow me) Original Source

This is the first of a two-part video that provides a general introduction to the idea of macro sociology. Part two is an introduction to micro sociology. I've separated the two parts (each of which is around 5 minutes long) for those who just want to watch one or the other. They are, however, designed to be viewed together and, for this reason, I'll be making the complete film available in due course - just as soon as my ancient computer has finished the rendering (which, at its current rate of progress, should be sometime in 2011). The fact I've split a complete film into two parts explains why Part 1 has an intro section (but no end credits) and Part 2 has no intro section but does have end credits. I could have given each part complete start and end sections but, quite frankly, I couldn't be arsed...

If you've watched any of the other stuff I've posted you'll realise this effort is a bit more sophisticated than previous efforts - a lot more film and a lot fewer graphics (or that may be part 2 - there's a nice grpahic in there somewhere). Having said that, it's still a litcken-sink job so don;t expect too much (and then you won't be disappointed. Probably).
